To All young people:
I highly recommend reading the F.I.R.E. Community page and information first. The earlier you know about the F.I.R.E community, the better it can benefit you if that is something you want to consider. (I wish I would have known this information much sooner.)
Then, I suggest reading The Money Guy’s Financial Order of Operations and/or Minority Mindset C.L.I.M.B. They both offer a lot of great information and can help you know where to put your focus to meet your financial goals.
However, if you want a very simple plan to start with, reading Dave Ramsey’s Baby Steps will not steer you wrong. His plan is easy to remember and simple to follow, and it will give you a great financial start.
Next, read Budgeting, Savings, and Groceries and Gas pages to learn tips about these areas in finance. Knowing this information early can help with your plan and help you meet your financial goals.
Then come back and visit other categories under Menu as you encounter them in your life. This information can help you not fall into the financial traps the world likes to set to keep people broke and dependent.
