Get Out of Bondage
I did not grow up learning how to be financially responsible. If anything, I learned I should probably do the opposite of what I saw if I wanted to be somewhat financially stable, and that mindset treated me fairly well. I tried to live under my means, made sure my bills were paid on time, and always had a little in savings, however, I learned that was not going to help me long term. I knew nothing about investing or how to make money work for me, and I realized I wasted a lot of my early adult years not investing.
I want to change this for others! Especially our younger generations!
You don’t need money to bless others, but money can be one tool used to help be a blessing as it’s something we all use to live. I believe financial education is extremely important, and I believe there is a reason why they don’t teach about true or in-depth finances in school. Financial education not only helps us stay out of the bondage of others, but it can also help us be a blessing to the ones around us and teach the next generations.
I’m only just beginning my journey of learning about money, economics, and how to be financially independent, and I’m trying to document what I’m learning for my children and others.
